Personal Review

I got hand on this book some eight years ago, while browsing through one of my favourite second hand book stall.  I was blank and found nothing that interested me, that’s when the shopkeeper guy introduced me into the world of “The Secret”. I got the book immediately and read it in light speed. Oh my friend that was my first mistake. This is a self-help book. And one has to read it slowly with a mind-set to seek help and not seek entertainment. The young me never knew this and pushed “The Secret “ aside. But yeah, few years later I found it again in my shelf. At that point of time I was going through downhill part of my life, and I needed help. So I grabbed the secret again, and this time read it slowly but steadily. And you know what? I can say it for sure; this book changed everything I thought about life!

Many people around the world claim that this book made them millionaire or rebuilt their relationship etc. Some claim it as complete waste of time and a big lie.

From my point of view, the secret indeed changed something inside me that again changed my life, but not like 100% of it. That doesn’t stop me from loving this book. Because, from my side it’s one of the many million truth about universe and this truth opened up many other gates of truth for me, through various other books.

What I Loved?

The entire concept of law of attraction

What I did not like?

• I was not happy by the way the concept was presented. It was like the same concept keeps on repeating the entire book. But yeah, maybe it was done to sow the secret deeply into the mind of the reader.
• Some concept was presented in gist format without digging much deeper.

Whom do I recommend it to?

• Someone who really wants to change their life
• Someone who wants to experience the magic of positive thinking
• Someone who actually believes in the concept of “Belief”.
